 Ellie Herrera - Ellie is a Scripps frosh living in a Frankel triple with Ginny. She is originally from Moorhead, Minnesota. One of three siblings (and fourteen cousins), she is the only quiet person in the Herrera family. She considers herself a liberal Christian and is deeply spiritual. |
 Ginny Vitelli - Ginny is an extroverted Scripps frosh from Arizona and Ellie's roommate. With her highly competitive personality, she alternatingly flirts with boys and beats them up. She is currently dating Drew. |
 Brian Wiegand - Brian is a Mudd frosh living in Linde Dorme with Drew. He grew up on a farm in Emporia, Kansas. He likes films, math, and loud music (mostly punk and metal). He and Margot attended high school together. |
 Margot Berger - Margot is a frosh engineering major and varsity swimmer at Mudd. She is typically sweet and easy to get along with, though occasionally her temper shows. She and Brian attended high school together. |
 Drew Norton - Drew is Brian's roommate. He is extremely nerdy, though he doesn't seem to realize it. A freshman math major at Mudd, he is two semesters ahead of his peers in math due to community college attendance during his senior year of high school. He loves philosophy, is a scholar of The Prisoner, and his favorite band is Pink Floyd. He and Ginny are currently dating. |
 Timothy Cho - Tim is a Mudd frosh from Washington. He plays electric guitar and enjoys indie rock. He also listens to a lot of electronic/synth/techno and has become adept at composing computer-generated music. Not surprisingly, he is a computer science/music double major. |
